Biker Wolfs
« on: July 10, 2016, 12:31:31 pm »
I've been watching "sons of Anarchy" and can't help but notice the similarities between how the MC works and how the wolf packs behave eg. women have no power or say and are basically up for grabs unless made a "old lady". Also there is the president, the number two vice president etc. However in the books once a women takes a mate she then has his rank.
So my thoughts are this: Has Patricia Briggs been an "old Lady?"
How cool would a were wolf biker gang be?
What would they be called?
If there was a fight between the Hells angels and the were wolf biker gang who would win? Remember there are a lot of Hells Angels out there.

Ever seen Werewolves on Wheels? Yep, it's an actual B-Movie from the 70's. I had it for a few years and I showed it to my pals who (like me) are big on monster movies. Might be the closet you'll ever see to a Biker Werewolf gang.

In Wen Spencer's Ukiah Oregon series there is a biker group called the Dog Soldiers. They are not werewolves, but they are changed.
And her book The Black Wolves of Boston is coming soon; it has werewolves but they're not bikers. I think.
I enjoy her work.

Given many wolves are older, and Samuels difficulty with vehicles, it would probably be a younger bunch of wolves who would be bikers. It would also give them a cover for pack meetings.

Ukiah Oregon's pack were an interesting biker gang.

Actually a lot of older people get into the more expensive bikes. I know plenty of them, though my distrust of motorcycles is deep and abiding.
