Ukiah & Atticus aren't clones; they're breeders, specifically engineered to be 1/2 alien & 1/2 Terran.
The others of the pack are closer to clones, since they're colonized by his 'blood'.

Hehe, yeah I got them backwards there, sorry.

I have that effect on people, make them say the opposite of what they mean, from time to time.  Dumb superpower, huh?

I don't know, it would work wonders if you were a lawyer.

Oh, we had some speculations on what could be done by this author on the "Ukiah Oregon" stories.

Invent another alien menace; could the Ontongard be the only ones?
Shoot what if there was another sport like Prime, but paranoid & wanting to be rid of the other Ontongard & any other offspring?
How about an alien race that hunts Ontongard sucessfully, & catches their 'scent' on Earth, then has to be convinced that they don't have to kill all of them?  I think that one would rock, and could go on for some volumes.  Ontongard hunting in Europe, Asia, Africa, anyone?  What would those aliens look like?  How hard would they be to disguise to move among Terra's masses

that reaches the question of how far the Ontongard (sp?) really ended up spreading.
it would be cool to have more interaction between Atticus, Ukiah, and there respective families/significant others, as well as Ukiah's 'son'

I read Tinker and Wolf Who Rules. I really enjoyed them and hopes she writes another one.

I liked Endless Blue.  It took me a while to get my head around the world she created: and one of her main characters is depressed - near suicidal, in fact.  Depressed people are often hard to like or be sympathetic with in real life too, so I guess her characterization was good. ;)

As much as I like Wen Spencer's books, Endless Blue is the first one I simply couldn't get into, much less finish.  It's a shame.  She's such a good writer.  Kept the book and maybe one day I'll try it again.

Has anyone heard what she is currently working on?

She just wnt through a particularly hard time personally and hasn't been writing much.  She just got back to blogging if you're interested, google her and you'll find her site.
