Enchanted Glass by Diana Wynne Jones. I had been reading The Overstory which came highly recommended. It's good, but I find reading present tense narration a real chore in most cases. It's weighing on me in this book.

Finished "As You Wish", reading another Zoe Chant shifter 'fated mate' story.

Don't know if you can really call it a romance if neither one has any real choice.

Yeah...no. That's part of why I'm not a huge fan of romance. Not all romance has that trope, thank God, but I usually find it annoying when it shows up.
