Good plan. I am planning on reading more of it, when the children are in bed :) I have just gotten it for my birthday :)

I've been using quotes from that (in a leisurely, wandering re-read) for the hangman game here.

I have the art book for Nene Thompson and Amy Brown and none of them make it that far for pages and paragraphs. I bought some craft magazines and that's not working either because they are patterns........ :P

Re-reading J. C. Daniels' Broken Blade to prep for the new book Edged Blade

Finished "das vierte Siegel", very exciting, with a hero who don't wants to save the world, and a princess who is incredible, but finds her way  :)

Now I'm in the waiting loop for Dead Heat, so will read some about dogs behavior, I think. After Dead Heat I'm planning its time for Ann Bishop  :) - will ask there, whats the best to start then.

"The very best of Charles de Lint"
Not sure about the title, for so far with few exceptions all the stories revolve around or touch with the same character - but then, maybe Charles is one of those one Universe writers.

Apart from that goes:
Oh, my goodness! He's brilliant!

Perfect Urban Fantasy comfort reads with a most lovely cast of female characters, but mainly Jilly Coppercorn, who we also see on the cover of book pictured in Charles Vess' fitting style (which reminds me just so a bit of Michael Kaluta).
Can't believe that it took me so long to discover this author, he's one of those for whose writing the term "magical realism" must have been coined.
I'm bound to say that he going to replace "The night circus" as latest favourite read and standing recommendation.

Not everything of his is in the one universe, or the city of Newford, but most of it is.

I've got "Second Watch" by J.A.Jance, a J.P.Beaumont mystery.

I remember reading him in the 80s and 90s and knowing he had the perfect touch for his genre. :D

The Gathering by Kelley Armstong, in a Ditch translation because that is the only one they have at the library. I liked it a lot, and just got the other two of the trilogy, from the library. While waiting for those, I started in Jim C. Hines' The Stepsister Scheme, the first of the Princess series (I have got it complete now, Patti!).

Finished Dead Heat. Will start Pocket Apocalypse next, but not tonight. Time to put the ponies to bed before the really nasty stuff blows in, and tomorrow will require significant shoveling before much reading can happen.
