I brought Moon Called into work the other night to reread it and now have list of five co-workers who want to read it!!!! And they are very happy that I own the rest of the series ;D. BTW that list of coworkers is just from one shift, we'll have to see how many want to read it once they bring it in :P.

Remind them that you're not their lending library, if it doesn't make a profit, the books won't be published.  They can club together & buy their own!

I definitely will, once they are hooked ;D. I don't mind having to buy one or two books to replace the ones I lend out, if they get too worn, but not much more than that!

Yes, and if you let them read the first one, but don't lend them the rest.... instant sales for our Hostess.

I bet Marilissa could do it better.

But yes, I actually do have a fairly impressive selection of wicked laughs & sinister snickers.

*shuddering*
I would hate to be nearby should Marsillia have a reason to use her evil laughter. Unless... maybe if Sam is around I could cuddle with him until I'm not so afraid ;).

But back to the subject... Moon Called... Hmm. Oh I know! I've read it at least ten times and enjoy it every time. Although I really wish Mac had survived. I felt so bad for him. He was just realising he could put his life back together then her was murdered :'(. I almost cried actually :-[.

I do cry.  Even though I know how it ends.  I was crying at SeaQuest yesterday, even when I knew everyone survived.  I'm such a watering pot.
The sinister black SUV thing almost cracked me up, though.

BUWAHAHAHAHA!!!  (as per request)

Yeah, that got a giggle out of me when I read it too, Patti.  I can just hear the little mental wheels in the (fictional) mercs heads when they were renting/buying the car.

I'm sad that he died, too.  That just goes to show that our Hostess can write lovable chars in short periods of time, though.  Extra style points for her.

I read Blood Bound first and really liked it. The problem was I thought it was the first book, so when I started Moon Called, I was way confused. Moon Called felt like a first book, where the main goal was introducing the characters. I liked Blood Bound better because, hey vampires, but I was pleased enough that I went for the third book.

I love coming into a series when its been established. I hate waiting a year between books.
