Lipizzaners? Or Adulusians? Austrians are probably more accurate for the description, but I always pictured the stockier lipizzaners as companions, and computer graphics have gotten cheaper for the eyes.

It might depend on how big they're supposed to be. Most Percherons are grey, if they need something big. And there are plenty of draft crossbreds running around. Lipizzaners are not all that big, though they are built to last. Andalusians used to be smaller too, but they've been breeding them much bigger in the past few decades.

And different configurations.  I could see Kantor, Ulrich's Companion as a Lipizzaner, but most of the others would have different characteristics for their physiques.
We've had our toad for the 2020s, it's got to get better from here!

There are plenty of grey Arabians. That's about as good an endurance horse as you can find.

Usually smaller than I picture companions, but I wouldn't object to Arabians as companions.
