Do you guys like the comics? Is it anything like Homecoming?  I just can't decide if I want to get them or not.  Would love some input   ;D

I've only seen the first one, but I really liked it.

The Moon Called graphic novels have stayed true to the book. Any changes were made only for the pacing of the comic book format. There aren't a lot but there are few here and there that were tweaked a bit for the visual layout.

I get them as well from my local comic book store.

My comic guy had #3 a few days ago so I went and picked it up. This is my favorite of all the covers and it has some great fight scene sequences. Really nice.

I didn't even know Moon Called had gotten a comic adaptation! Being a senior in college really does leave you out of touch with the real world :) Well, I returned home and picked up all three issues at my local comic book store.

I was a bit worried when I first picked up issue one. Why did they go with a different cover artist on issue one? Because I really don't love the cover. It's just a general group shot and, when I first picked it up, I wasn't even sure who most of the guys around Mercy are. The pale one is Stefan, Adam's in the torn red shirt with Jesse beside him, but who are the two in the corner? Sam? Bran? And are the pair of eyes by Mercy's feet supposed to be someone we know or just a random pair of almost-wolfish eyes?

I feared the entire issue would look like that but I was so relieved to open the issue and see that Amelia Woo from the second half of Homecoming was back! I loved her art in Homecoming and I'm loving it here.

I can forgive the semi-clunky flashback that takes up half of issue one because they clearly wanted to start off with some action. The other two issues flowed beautifully, such a relief and refreshment from the Alpha and Omega comic. Truth be told, when I saw there was a comic adaptation of Moon Called, I was worried it would be as rushed and cut up as the Alpha and Omega comic had been. But this is going wonderfully!

I can't wait until the fourth issue, with the new werewolf hunt! But when is it due to come out? According to the website, it said December but my comic book store said they didn't have it in yet.

Artwork for issue#4 is just being finished off so I wouldn't look for it until mid January.
