Weaker individually, or as a pack?

Mostly as a pack.  You'd have no one powerful to rely on in the clinch, as backup.  No hope for continuity in anything you built after you were gone, i.e. no one strong enough to carry on your legacy.  Also your pack might be annihilated while you were off on a business trip because no one was strong enough to mount a defense against the invaders.  But if those sorts of things aren't important to you....

Which, if you're a sociopath, they might not be.

Aaand let's get back to AGE ISSUES on this thread, I wandered.
We've had our toad for the 2020s, it's got to get better from here!

I would think that even 'many' sociopaths wouldn't care for such outcomes.  Enlightened self interest would seem to mitigate against such an attitude.

On the other hand I think psychopaths such as that cracked Eurpopean Alpha might just revel in such chaos.

But even say the germany in wwii didn't kill off all the furor's dominant subordinates.  Just look at Rommel in africa, marginalized and not supported like he should have been but not killed out of hand.  And I'd say germany's leader at that time was both a sociopath and more than a bit of a psychopath as well.

How old was that european psychopath anyway?

I remember Arthur wasn't a bicentenial man by any stretch.

No, Arthur has a sister living, he couldn't be that age.  Born before WWI, though, I think.

He still had a younger sister (in her eighties) who was alive and had excellent eyesight. This made it impossible for him to visit home as yet.

If he was 200 and his sister is 80 then that would make their parents 120.(confused)

No, dear.  He (Arthur) was between 80 & 95.  His parents and other siblings have died.  That's why he referred to his remaining, live, sister.

Charles is about that, but Has was mistakenly thinking that Arthur was.
