"Colds Days" has lots of twists and turns, plus a couple of things I didn't see coming. Good read.

Harry needs a badge, because He is THE WARDEN. Plus He is being called starborn, what ever that means in the Dresden universe.

Possibly my favorite scene was that first one with Thomas.  I wound up with a huge stupid grin on my face.

Oh, I don't know.  The confrontation scene between Maeve and her sister was pretty amazing, too.  :P

Loved this book, as usual. So many surprises!
There are many people – happy people, it usually appears – whose thoughts at Christmas always turn to books. The notion of a Christmas tree with no books under it is repugnant and unnatural to them. – Robertson Davies (1997)

I definitely recall reading the first few Dresden books and not being impressed. I eventually went back and tried again with some of the later books (maybe 3 or 4?) and then I really started loving them.

hmm, I loved them right from book one! But I guess I've never read his Codex Alera series, so that might change my perspective a little!
Murphy- Are you always such a wise-ass?
Dresden- Nope, sometimes I sleep! :) ~ Dresden Files

I know the voices in my head aren't real..... but sometimes their ideas are just absolutely awesome! ;D

I can't wait to see what that means! I've been wondering since it was first mentioned. I want the next book NOW!  LOL

Four part interview with Jim Butcher about his work.  Part 4 gives some tantalizing info about Skin Game.
