Potential Samuel Crossover Romances -- Speculation and Amusement
« on: February 05, 2009, 10:41:51 am »
So, over in Patti's place, we were talking about how Sam needed a woman. Someone he could settle down with. And I thought, "how about Kitty?" from Carrie Vaughn's Kitty series. Mind you, Kitty has her own Significant Other in that series, but I thought the idea of speculating about crossover romances for Samuel was funny. So, bring it on: who would be a fun crossover romance for our Samuel? Serious, funny, ironic replies are all welcome.

For example, after I dismissed Kitty as a possibility (because I like her relationship), I started giggling over the idea of Anita Blake. I mean, EVERYONE wants Anita, right??  ::)

Or maybe we can solve two characters' problems at once and have Sam settle down with Sookie Stackhouse. They could raise little mind-reading weres.

Thoughts?

I don't want to write the great American novel. I want to write the great American beach read. It pays better!

Well after that wonderful tidbit from Mike- perhaps its guess what type of supernatural/long lived HEA, Sam is going to get :D

And Anita Blake- uh uh CANT see Sam hooking up with her at all :D
I like Kitty but I think Kate Daniels is a good one- Definitely think he would give Curren a run for his money ;D

I don't know about Kate Daniels. I just love her and Curran. And I think she's a little too rough around the edges for Sam. What about one of the fae? Sam could join Merry Gentry's "pack"!  :P

You want to torture him right :D

Oh oh oh
How about Georgina from the Succubus books although they would need to fix the sucking the lifeforce from sex - but then again Sam is a werewolf and is immortal. :D

He won't die of old age but he can die. So maybe a succubus would not be a good idea :)

Not yet, I don't think. Let's see after this next book. Hopefully she will be less of a damsel in distress.

How about Elena from The Otherworld. I think Sam would be a lot less 'irritating' than Clay. :P

I like Elena with Clay.  No breaking them up.

And Sam with Anita?!?!?!?!?!  *shudder*

Man, I feel physically ill now.  The only way I'd want Sam anywhere near Anita would be if he were planning to eat her for dinner.
I could not deprive you of the realization of all you could accomplish together, and of a friendship that will define you both in ways you cannot begin to imagine.

I like Elena with Clay, too.

LOL on the eating for dinner... but somehow I think Anita would be too stringy.  ;D

How about Delilah, the werecat from Yasmine Galenorn's Sisters of the Moon series? She's a bit silly, but Sam could use some silliness in his life.
