TODAY  :D

Sunday, July 20. Called my local B&N and they had just put out the display. I'm on my way over to pick it up now. Do Not Disturb for rest of evening!!!!!

May your Sunday be as joyous as mine!

Hmm, I've got a B&N business card right in front of me.  I should log off & call.
Not yet though.  I'm going to finish catching up on some things, then I'm off to see if Opramum is still bellydancing in West Seattle.

Went to my local B&N today, they still show the release date as July 29, and seemed surprised that other B&N outlets had "jumped the gun" and put it out early...?

Which doesn't seem to have happened west of the Mississippi.

Actually, Barnes & Noble seems to be having trouble with release dates this summer. They also messed up the release, and the in-store positioning of Kelley Armstrong's new series The Darkest Power. The release date of the first book, The Summoning, was changed a couple months ago, and yet B&N  still showed the oriiginal release date as of last week, a full 2 weeks after the release date.

I checked in at the info desk with one of my ex-colleagues, & she found none in the computer system for the store.
I did physical walk through anyway, as I did in Borders.  No joy for me.

*sighs* It's going to be FOREVER for me. I'm going to buy a copy when I'm in the US end of August. BUt better than via amazon. If I would order via amazon I would get it in October!

Hmmmm I think I have to do a list on books I want to buy when I'm in the STates ;)

Not to brag . . . but for those of you without a great customer service oriented B&N like mine . . . Cry Wolf is wonderful! I finished a marathon reading last evening and will return to it this evening for a more leisurely read.

So, Patty - when's the next Alpha & Omega book out?  ;)

I have a valid reason for waiting until the hard sell date.  Actually, I have several (yes, I know, nobody expected a bloody Spanish Inquisition).  First reason, I want Cry Wolf to hit the bestseller list.  Second reason, I'm flying to Oak Ridge, TN and need something to read on the flights.  Third reason, I'm too tired to risk reading it before then.  Last week I borrowed a Dean Koontz novel from a coworker (The Good Guy), and ended up reading the whole thing at the expense of my sleep cycle.  I need several uninterrupted hours for this, and by waiting until the flights, I won't neglect my children and feel guilty about it!
Find what you love and do it!
