I know, it's impossible to find, and it sells for way more than it should when you can find it.   As I've said elsewhere, it's a first novel, and it's fairly short.  It's a good read, but probably not worth the extraordinary efforts required to locate a copy.  :(

Sorry I don't have better news.

So far I've bought , read, turned around and sold Masques twice now.  Give someone else a chance to read the book.  I'm hoping the new omnibus will come out sometime in the near future, preferably before I'm dead.  Enjoyed the book and it's humor, but I'd really like to see where Patty takes the story.

Lots and lots and lots.
I'm curious to see if there'll be any reaching to the other countries & characters of the Sianam world.

There's a sample chapter?  Where?
We've heard here that it's something Mrs. Briggs only gets to work on in tiny fits & starts because she's contracted ahead for 7-10 books between Mercy & Charles/Anna.

I think it's actually the first chapter of Masques, not Wolf's Bane.  It's on the published books page.  Of course, Patti L, I'm like you I would die for a sample chapter, just to see what Aralorn and Wolf have been up to.   ;D

Funny! Did you just make that up or have I simply never run across it before?

I've been using it for a year or two, or, hm.  Maybe longer than that.  I saw one of those foil over paper burger wrappers go up in a microwave quite spectacularly back in the late 70s.
Guess it hasn't migrated before now.  Help yourself!

Not really, there could be all kinds of variations - which I'm taking over to the Random thread, to keep us from being off topic here, 'kay?

Just wanted to say that I enjoyed the book, was a fun read. I want to re-read Steal the Dragon now to see what the people there, a little way in the future, are saying about the Ae-magi and the Uriah. I think I remember them being mentioned but not how. I also want to see if Myr is mentioned again.
