I never started that one. The only movie I remember feeling that way about was No Way Out. It definitely ended in the most artistic way possible, but not the way I wanted it to end.
then you never watched The Mist... thats one of those ends you remember.

So news: Avengers Part 4 (Infinity War 2 aka Infinity Cruisade) comes 2019 and it will be the end of many contracts.
Marvel is not sure what to do after because the past 10 years come to a closure.

They're the who, but not that picture for me.  They're in Steed's vintage automobile, for me.

Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War was spectacular. I am looking forward to seeing how they will pull this off.

Last weekend my daughter and I watched Black Panther on demand. It was visually gorgeous, with lots of little Easter egg in-jokes for various factions. I want a few of those dresses very badly. The lab did unfortunately remind me a little of the #BadiStockPhotosOfMyJob threads, possibly because I had read them so recently. The cast was really as good as it gets. The storyline was fairly standard, but there was some briefly thoughtful discussion of motivation and morality.

I'm not up to date on the entire Marvel oeuvre, and probably never will be. This seemed like a pretty decent superhero movie to me. A lot of it stayed with me afterward, more so than the GOTG movies, though I thoroughly enjoyed those. I was quite surprised at the number of vicious reviews. For any given movie, there will always be some people who hate it, with varying degrees of rationality. There just seemed to be an awful lot of the less rational ones. For me, it would be about a 4 out of 5 stars.

Watched A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

I'd only seen the play version before. The movie is just as funny, and well worth watching.

Fell asleep during Black Panther.  Just not my thing.  Steed and Emma Peel were my favorites.  She was SO COOL!!!
I wanted to be her when I grew up.

On a recent flight I started to watch Rampage (2018). I turned it off after about 10 minutes because it seemed so unbelievable. But then on my last flight I started maybe 15 minutes +/- into the film, not remembering that I had tried watching before. After watching for a while, and realizing that it was the same flick, I began to understand that it was largely done tongue-in-cheek and had a lot of humor as well as amazing special effects. Taken that way, I can recommend it. Specially funny is when George (the giant ape) pretends to be dead near the end, just to mess with Davis. I also enjoyed when he (George) ate the bad lady.

I have to agree. Its not a awesome must seen movie. Its more or less a simple popcorn movie.
You can watch it, its not that bad. But nothing for my collection.
