OTOH, I'm shocked to learn that it is not an offspring of the Flying Spaghetti Monster that hovers invisibly over Omaha.

One I'd add to the list is yet another tale of The Great Detective pulled out of retirement, as told by Gahan Wilson in "Everybody's Favorite Duck".
It's a book that's just about as twisted as his cartoons.

The Seth Dickinson book looks really interesting.
