I'm also a Liadan affecianado.  (BTW, I try to avoid saying 'fan' because it derives from 'fanatic' & fanaticism is responsible for so much misery in the world.  Just a little personal quirk, no preaching, gang.)
Well met under The Tree, fellow traveler.
I'd also like to see more stories set in the 'Tomorrow Log' world.  I'm still not sure if it's the same universe as Korval or not, although I'm thinking it isn't.
Do you frequent Binjali's?  If so, I'll hope to see you there.

Plan B -- June 2009
Local Custom -- July 2009
Scout's Progress -- August 2009

Yep. Read both fledgling and saltation as they progressed. It got so I was cranky when the usual day arrived but there was no new chapter for whatever reason  :P

That universe can be really addictive. The Liaden books are among those that I often reread as comfort reading or just because I need something I know will be good. They are on the shelf of books to be read again and again and again....

You know Anne McCaffrey does that with them too?

Have you gotten any of the chap books, or the compilations?

I have I think 1 chapbook & a couple of the compilations, not everything that's been put out in that universe by any means.

Do you go to Binjali's at Baen's Bar?  Lots of good snippets - very short, alas - and speculation over there, along with somebody who's keeping at least a timeline, if not the sort of 'canon' files that Elle keeps here, although those are off site.

The Humor section at Baen's is also a mine of laughs, and there are several other areas I visit frequently, although I stay away from politics, Mike's Madhouse, and a few of the other sections where they're - well, mean.  But Sarah's Diner is full of Hurog like lunatics, including the Hostess there, who was recently holding the entire diner population at bay with either a spatula made by EE (Exponential Experimental) Labs & Rex Mason (who not only believes faster is better, but slow is stupid) or an astonishingly dull and dangerous book.  On account of the alien rats.  Which weren't those regularly brought in by Speaker 2 Lab Animals.  Oh, and for the moment, we've got 5 of him.
