Look up at the top of the page. The search button is written in white on the gray background.

-depends on which 'skin' a person is using. 
There is a ... letterhead box across the top.  Usually above it are various options, such as
"home" "help" "search" "profile" "My messages" "calendar" "members" and "logout"
Clicking on search will bring you to a dedicated area for doing search, with a "url box" into which to put your term, like... eh... "Frazier"  It offers 'advanced search' too.
