$1.99 (price) Expires 6/16/18      Forever, Erma

A collection of the most memorable, moving, and witty columns from the “much-loved humorist.” This collection holds the best of her columns—not just her famous quips, but also the heartbreaking observations that gave her writing such weight (Booklist).
“Bombeck had an infectious sense of human absurdity that is highlighted in this collection celebrating her 25-year career as a low-key enforcer of the positive in the face of adversity...” —Publishers Weekly
(I read a certain amount of her stuff near the time the books were published.  I still grin over the "steak knives" column. Then there's the funeral with the three sons... I'm tearing up thinking about that one.  Woman had power.

I am a huge fan of her Kate Shugak series, rather less so of her historical fiction. I might wait to buy this until it goes on sale or something.

Thank you; I've been a fan of Ms. Scott ever since reading "Trouble And Her Friends". I can't say I've been able to get into everything she's written, but I'll surely be giving this a whirl.
