why was my topic moved but not answered?
« on: March 30, 2013, 09:14:17 pm »
I asked a question on thomas hao, who I see in frost burned, however my question was locked and sent away...why?
I didn't know where else to ask, it seems most threads end up locked and blocked...really hard when no one tells you why, just moves, edits, and locks...help?

I wasn't the one who did it, but I think I can answer this question. It was probably moved so that it was in a section Patty would be more likely to see, and locked so no one would post speculation on it and the answer would be easier to find once it was answered.

maewolf, this is the flight path of where you originally posted your question:

The Hurog Family >Ask Patty and Find Your Answer >Non-Mercyverse Books Questions (Moderators: Elle, Has, Patti L.) > MOVED: thomas hao

Do you see the bold section?  NON Mercyverse questions was where you posted it.
So it was moved into Mercyverse questions where it belongs so that yes, it can (if she chooses) be answered by Patty.

You might consider reading this thread:  http://www.hurog.com/forum/index.php?topic=4833.0
This is Frequently Asked Questions and tells you a lot of the standard things, as well as where to find the answers to several questions that are asked by many people.

The third question that it addresses is "What happens next with this character/storyline?"

The second post includes information about "Why can't I find my post about ____?" and
"Why has someone else edited my post?"

Hope that helps.

At the time I did not know that Thomas was part of the Mercy verse, its why i asked there, i had never heard of him before that i could remember. But thank you both very much for the answers it helped alot :)

I should have put that i had only heard about thomas in the short story, which is why i did not know he would be in the mercy verse eventually

I only just read that story myself, and it doesn't mention werewolves at all.
I just checked the introduction of the story in the anthology, & it doesn't say there that it's in the Mercyverse either.
So NOW I understand why you put it here! :D
