I'm currently reading https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16126669.Monkeewrench__Monkeewrench__1_.
:-whistle I think the series by PJ Tracey is exceptionally well written.

That series is a good one, I agree.

I just finished Killman Creek by Rachel Caine and while not quite as good as its predecessor, Stillhouse Lake, it was very good.

I've been reading Lyastheria ( I may have that wrong) the 3rd of 4 books in "Her Instruments" by M.C.A.Hogarth, and "Silver Scales" by L. Rowan.
Both are currently paused because of the signals that one or more main character is about to Do Something Stupid that will make matters worse. In each case, the author has signaled that the person they're coming up against is a Bad Guy.  One quite obviously, since he's been one of the villains, the other from the POV character having mentioned that he looks like a predator.  She's 17 years old, and the obvious impression is that he wants to sexually molest her, possibly with sadism.

I hate when that happens. Protagonists who are TSTL don't get far with me.

I don't think these people are absolutely stupid, but the one has got espers to deal with, kind of hard to hide from them!
The other just got a shock as she overheard her best friends and a troublemaker laying out how she was not a good friend, so she's distracted and a teen.  Maybe later today I'll push one or both a little further.

Just finished The Wrong Side of Goodbye by Michael Connelly. Not quite as grim as your typical Harry Bosch; I feel like going back and rereading it soon. Not that Harry is necessarily softening in his old age, but Connelly might be.

Also rereading some Georgette Heyer, as they are wonderful comfort reads for this time of year.

Just finished reading Rolling In the Deep by Mira Grant. I thought of it as a novella, went into it knowing it was like a novella, I found myself not worried about deeper details like I would in a much longer book. The world fell into place pretty easy with that thinking, and the story flowed for me very well based on that thinking.

Now I am trying to decide what in my pile of books ( "e" and pulp) I want to read next... :-\

Assign them all a number and draw a number from a hat?

I am reading a knitting pattern for a pretty shawl I hope I have the skill to make.
