Sure, I wasn't sure how much to say.
In this First Novel in the Spineward Sector series: The first Chapter gives a good overview of the main character. I don't know if you can read a few chapters first on Amazon or not. But I was hooked.
We are in space.
Our Vice Admiral/Prince is a college student studying Colonial Administration and is on board as
"a face saving piece of interstellar politics between my homeworld Capria and our good friends from the Empire."
He is also fulfilling a requirement for his degree.
They are patrolling the Spineward Sector for pirates and other such disturbances along the borders of the Confederated Empire. When the Imperial Fleet gets orders to part ways with the Confederation to give support to another front in another alliance. They take all their equipment and their men as well as a few others along with them. Leaving the no real space experience - Admiral/Governor/Prince with no experienced crew and only obsolete equipment in their stead.
A delightful read, action packed and splattered with humor.
The brother and I sure yucked it up when we went through and edited the Who?.
Its nice to see that others liked the humorous slant in there.
As for amazon, you don't even need to have their kindle for pc free software to read the first 10% for free. Just click on the image I think.
Hopefully the 2nd book when it gets out there, does even half so well. When you're under the 2.99 you're at the 35% royalties option. While with the 2.99 and higher your at the 70%. So the second book will be the money maker if there's any money to be made. But it'd sure be nice to dream about being able to quite the day job and go back to live with the family full time in the philippines.
have a blast,
The Deposed King
P.S. - FYI the Spineward Sectors are actually 7 or 8 sectors depending on where you place the 28th provisional. So the Adventures of the Little Admiral aren't going to be limited to just one sector. hahahahah. If Jason has anything to say about it the Imperials are going to rue the day they abandoned this particular section of the old Confederacy. Of course... he has to survive long enough to have any say in what happens going in the future.
