Good to know!

Went to a ladies' swap meet last night. Got one friend hooked on Kevin Hearne and a friend of the hostess hooked on Faith Hunter.  :D Also got a copy of Amy Schumer's The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo and a deep peacock colored pashmina. And ate a lot.

Missy the Werecat: Book I

~~Author, P.G. Allison

Reads like a first novel. Missy is a good girl who never steps wrong, and adults trust all of her actions. Quite a lot of description of her physical beauty. Could not get emotionaly interested in the characters. This might have been due to the third person perspective.

It looked a little like that even from the description. The Fairy Queen one looks more promising, at least with the naked eye.

Well, maybe our former writers group person got published.  Sounds like what she was offering up to us. Was she standing in front of a mirror looking at herself?

Yeah, that's one of those bad/lazy/didn't read other books new author tropes, as I understand it.

The Door Into Fire is one of the Diane Duanes that I haven't read. I recognized a couple of the other names, like Vonda MacIntyre, but haven't read them.

I think I've got a spare copy... although it might be a hardcover of Door into Sunset.
Or both.  But not the middle volume, Starlight.

First thing I thought of was Westly in The Princess Bride.

When I read 'Kill The Farmboy' all I could think of was the opening scenario in "All Those Explosions Were Someone Else's Fault".
Chortle.
If anyone's curious, it's part of the 'Look Inside' segment available on Amazon.
