I know Rebecca Bradley for her Gil Trilogy: Lady in Gil, Scion's Lady and Lady Pain. Tig is an unlikely, unwilling hero. He ends up saving the day by being as unheroic as he can. It was a fun series.

I enjoyed the books, but couldn't remember seeing anything more from the author. When I saw the books in the library today I looked up why. She is from Calgary and does archaeology. She has written some short fiction. Nothing new in about seven years.

Hmm, the name Tig sounds really familiar. I need to look these up and see if I've read them before.
