Too bad Daniel Dos Santos can't do these covers too!

are there two comic adaptations of moon called coming out?

on amazon, i see an IDW hardcover that's supposed to be published on 08/15/2010 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1600107095/ref=ord_cart_shr?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER), but on dynamite entertainment's homepage, they're just starting the individual comic issues in september (http://www.dynamiteentertainment.com/htmlfiles/viewProduct.html?PRO=C725130151643).

are these the same thing? different things?

There's only the one adaptation. The IDW hardcover was the original attempt and when Dabel Brothers was absorbed into Dynamite comics it was abandoned.

The Dynamite version of Moon Called adapted by David Lawrence and drawn by Amelia Woo is the only one you'll see. So they are the same thing...but they're different.  ;D

Moon Called Cover
The style is too much Michael Turner influenced for my liking.
Nothing against the man, he draws one hell of sexy women, but he's a typical American Superhero artist and that's naturally bound to create a conflict here.

The dynamite cover won't load... it's been "loading" for about a minute now, and the page is still blank.
We've had our toad for the 2020s, it's got to get better from here!
But do beware the toad burps.

The same cover is posted upthread on Page#1 @ the TFAW site, if you're having trouble viewing it @ the Dynamite site.

I can't wait to get this. Moon called was the first book I read of Patricia's work and it is what made me fall in love with her work in the first place. I can't wait to see what warren looks like.

I got Moon Called #1!!! I really like the artwork in this one. Adam isn't my favorite but we don't see a really good pic of him yet so we'll see what I think of him in the next book.
