I didn't love Good Omens, but, I didn't like the Hitchhiker books either and it reminded me of them.  Its just not my type. I did love Neverwhere(probably my favorite) Anansi boys, Stardust and American Gods.  He is an excellent writer, more of real literature than I usually read these days.  His books are like a great big steak and take a while to digest.  Mostly I read twinkies for the sheer escapism these days.   :D

I hear you on that, Julie P!  I haven't really made it through any of his actual novels except Good Omens, which was more Pratchett to me.  I have read some of his graphic stuff, but the classic novel type stuff - nope.

It's his birthday, & his assistant wrote him an open letter that's pretty cool:

There's also a collection out with his first new "Neverwhere" story, about the Marquis of Carabas (the puss in boots story).

I don't know if y'all knew, but besides the American Gods adaptation series on US TV, he's show runner for a 6 part adaptation of Good Omens (with bonus material!) filming now in South Africa, and starring, among others, David Tennant.

Good Omens was done in partnership with Terry Pratchett for those who were not aware.
