I read her The Hound and the Falcon Series many years ago. She lists this as part of her Historical Fantasy series. I remember enjoying this trilogy.

I just discovered she is still alive and writing. Here are two essays on horses.

I'm going to copy this to the writing area, it's going to be intensely useful for the city types particularly!  Thank you, Janilee!
We've had our toad for the 2020s, it's got to get better from here!
But do beware the toad burps.

She writes under a number of names. Caitlin Brennan, pseudonym used for publishing at Harlequin Enterprises Limited and Kathleen Bryan, pseudonym used for publishing at Tor Books. I've read some but not all of her stuff. Her fantasy is good. she doesn't seem to do much SF, and what I've seen was part of a shared world, "The War World" series and also co-authored, so it's hard to tell. I liked the SF books, but how much of that was her, I don't know.

Here's what I've read:

The Hound and the Falcon, 1993, a collection of earlier works:
The Isle of Glass, Bluejay, 1985
The Golden Horn, Bluejay, 1985
The Hounds of God, Bluejay, 1986

The Alamut series (set in the same universe as The Hound and the Falcon):
Alamut, Doubleday, 1989
The Dagger and the Cross, Doubleday, 1991

Avaryan Chronicles series:
The Hall of the Mountain King, Tor, 1986
The Lady of Han-Gilen, Tor, 1987
A Fall of Princes, Tor, 1988
Arrows of the Sun, Tor, 1993

There are two more in this series so far, both of which I haven't found yet:
Spear of Heaven, Tor, 1994
Tides of Darkness, Tor, October 2002

Her books in "The War World" series:
Blood Vengeance (with Jerry Pournelle, S.M. Stirling, Susan Shwartz, and Harry Turtledove), Baen, 1993
Blood Feuds (with S.M. Stirling, Susan Shwartz, and Harry Turtledove), Baen, 1993

Stand Alones:
Household Gods (with Harry Turtledove), Tor, September 1999

She's written a lot more than just the ones I've read.

I enjoyed this series.  :D

The Isle of Glass, Bluejay, 1985
The Golden Horn, Bluejay, 1985
The Hounds of God, Bluejay, 1986

For some reason, I never got back to her works.  ???
