The Mercy Series
« on: March 08, 2010, 04:55:01 pm »
I'm just pointing out my amazement at how Patty managed to COMPLETELY avoid the twilight phenomenon. :) I just finished the 3rd book and just bought the 4th and the 5th is right around the corner. I truly hope this avoidance can continue.

You have my support, and thanks for the good stories that make me swear at the walls when things hit me in the story hahaha.

Well, you posted in "Ask Patt" which means you have a question to ask. Comments and compliments go in the "For Patty" area.  You're not the first person to confuse the two :D

I am very grateful (especially as I slog through the Masques rewrite) that the books hit big after I'd been writing for fifteen years and had time to learn my craft.  I will also say that Twilight is much, much better than my first book and writing with the kind of pressure the fame brought to Meyers is incredibly difficult.  You just wait -- her books should only get better :P
Best,
Patty
