Wonderful to hear, Patti!

Wish I could meet her in person myself. Or be privy to a reading by Patty. Sounds lovely.  8) The closest stop is Minneapolis, and that's over 9hrs away...

I was present at Patty's signing at Powell's tonight (last night :-[ it's morning now)
She read from chapter 4.
she indicated that the walking stick was going to show why fae gifts aren't very comfortable to have around.

She also said she was going to be at the beach for Easter Sunday! Have fun Patty!

What is this MisCon in Missoula? Is that something everyone can go to? Sorry, I'm completely uneducated about this sort of thing :P

Most conventions have a registration fee.  I'd suggest looking it up on Google; you can get information straight from the people running it.  Conventions can be a lot of fun, if they're run well.

Is there any information about a signing tour for Masques &/or Wolfsbane?

bOuNcY  Here is an AWESOME  convention you should come too in Minneapolis.  All things Geeky sci fi fantasy.  24 hour free coffee bar, real rocket scientists, authors, artists, entertainment, costume show!

this years theme is villans.  Bobba Fett is coming. :-)

This past Tuesday, I made it to the book signing at B&N in Huntington Beach, CA.  Patty read from Chapter 3 and kindly answered questions from her fans.  I didn't know she was going to do all that and then sign books.  Wow!  I was intrigued by her answers and totally pleased that I was there.  Thank you, Patty for using your writing talent and giving time to us.

I couldn't make it to Minneapolis for the Uncle Hugo's signing either, and the Twin Cities are my old stomping grounds  :-'. So, I admit it, I'm cheating: my brother still lives there, and he kindly agreed to show up for the event when I called him up and begged shamelessly. Well, plus he was looking for an excuse to head down there anyway to look for some out-of-print stuff, and he still owes me for turning him on to the Malazan series. I love having relatives!

Patti, I was SO excited that you were coming out here to Minnesota, and now I'm going to be out of state.  I hope you have a lovely time here in the Twin cities and hope you find some out of print books you've been looking for at Uncle Hugo's.

Patty -

Do you check your email very often?  I sent you one a while back (towards the end of March) about Sara the Cancer Slayer!  I wanted to be able to get some info from you before you this Sat book signing in kennewick if possible.

Thanks

Ashley

Jazz, MisCon is a smaller convention in Missoula, MT on Memorial Day weekend.  You can read more about it at www.miscon.org.
Find what you love and do it!

Ashley:
Patty reads her mail every day . . . alas, responding to all of it is impossible.  It seems like things are always crazy busy here -- getting a book out generally means a bunch of 16 hour days, and having it published means signing tours, shipping issues, and a flood of interviews.  I just gave Patty a call, and she promised to get back to you today. Sorry for the delay :-'

Do you think there's a chance of any signings or appearances in Michigan or Wisconsin in the next year or so?

Thanks, I'd been wanting to go to a Patty party somewhere but I had no idea what a convention was. Thanks for the info and suggestions! :D
