In most photoediting programs, there is a way to resize images.

Ignore.

Just testing setting to see if I get (or preferably, don't get) bumped back to main forums when responding to a post.

*crosses fingers*

Edited:  WOOT!  Yeah. It worked.  :D

Okay, I'm technologically challenged today. My mom sent me an absolutely adorable picture, the it-really-makes-you-smile kind, and I'd love to share it with everyone. How do I do this, or can I put it up on Flickr or Photobucket, so as not to use up too much cpu space? It's a jpeg, so it's already compressed.

At the tops of most areas where photos are appropriate, there is a pinned topic of "How to post a photo."  Photobucket or flickr are good.

Okay, Patti, it worked like a charm. I stuck the cute stuff on the Life Happens thread. Thanks so much again!

Okay, this may be a dumb question, but I'm a dumb person so it's all good:
Is there any way to view the threads any other way than one huge flat thread?
Is there an option to view them as threaded, flat, inline or nested or anything other than how I'm currently seeing it?
The reason I ask is that I am finding a bit difficult to follow the thread of the conversations.
And if this is not a current feature, then I offer my most humble :-[ suggestion that maybe it should be looked into.   Many Thanks :)

Hi Flyleaf,

The SMF board software that we use here at Hurog isn't compatible for threaded or hybrid display modes. It's flat thread only. I went and had at look to see if it's something that they might have on the back burner but it looks like the coders at SMF aren't pursuing it at this time due to all the modifications needed to support it. A code monkey may do a mod for it sometime in the future but for right now I'm afraid you'll have to work with the flat thread view. :)
