Mark Del Franco
« on: January 13, 2009, 05:49:03 pm »
He has an urban fantasy series set in Boston.  The main character is Connor Grey, once a powerful druid who was magically crippled, and no longer has his powers.  He consults on cases for the human police.  The first two books are out, and the third is out the end of this month.

Unshapely Things
Unquiet Dreams
Unfallen Dead

They're worth checking out (at least, I think so).  :)

I can't wait for the third one to come out.  He has also turned in a new book set in the same world with a female protagonist.  I don't know the expected publication date though.

I think the new series might be out around August?  I'll have to go back and check - I'm pretty sure he blogged it somewhere...

I'll have to look for these at my library. I  like to read books that are set locally.

E, I checked on Amazon, and they have it listed as coming out July 28.  The title is Skin Deep.

I just finished Unfallen Dead, and it was great.  More interesting stuff going on, and Connor's life keeps getting more and more complicated.  The mystery was good, and we're learning more about the darkness in his head, and the intrigues of Faerie.  Definitely worth reading.

Read the new book, Skin Deep.  A really good heroine, and one of those mysteries that just keeps you reading to the end.  I enjoyed it very much.

I read Unshapely Things last week and really enjoyed it! The rest of the books are now on my list to buy.
