Those poor confused Feegles...  I mean, can you imagine growing up with a name like "Slightly-Shorter-Than-Medium-Jock-But-Bigger-Than-Wee-Wee-Jock"?  Must have gotten into so many fights as a kid.....although for a Feegle...all the better for him! :D

Yep, practice for the rest of life.  And the name thing too, really.  Think about it, one slip of a letter, & people confuse me with Our Hostess.

Okay.  The Wee Free Men, followed by A Hatful of Sky followed by Wintersmith.

How's Wintersmith, anyway? I heard it's not quite as good as the first two Tiffany books...

I'm not going to judge.  What I'll say is that it's another of his anthropomorphication (is that the right word?) jobs.  Like Death, Time, & Luck, Winter becomes more literally personified.  In fact, there's one bit that was 'shades of Pyramids!'

I am pretty sure that you got the word right. It is an Anthropomorphic Personification sooo.... I can't think of a better way to say it.

I knew what the books are, but I haven't had time to borrow them from my friend and read them.

Very good books, I discovered this author recently (thanks to a book recommandation on KA board) and I really liked them.

So far my favorites characters are Granny, Rincewind and the Luggage.... Maybe more Granny than the others in fact :d

I've got to admit, I tend to picture her as a cross between my mother & my eldest sister, but with Arnold S'nwhozits's chin.

Certain of my inner powers no matter what outsiders think of me.

I am not the mother figure that Nanny Ogg is and not the wet hen that Magrat is..

I love Tiffany but I am still wondering where she will end up. I hope Terry does write her 4th book!
