We've had our toad for the 2020s, it's got to get better from here!
But do beware the toad burps.

We hereby decree that 2015 on Roundworld shall be the 'Year of the Spinning Mouse' on Discworld. Hurrah! Hurrah! Huzzah!

Pretty good, though not always the way I read them. She calls Carrot a side character. To me, one of the most amazing things about Discworld is that what would be side characters in other series are, over the course of the series, as fully fleshed-out as most authors' main characters. We know as much of the important stuff about Carrot and Angua as about Vimes and Lady Sybil.

The first comment was another excellent intro to the books, in a lot fewer words.

Ok, I might do that if I can get my act together. It would require some rereading, of course....

Well, somehow I had missed the Jonathan Jones controversy in September, and somehow I had missed NADWCon in Baltimore in 2013. That was a complicated year for me. I will try to keep an eye on 2017.
