Anybody else notice how much like Caefawn Sham of "When Demons Walk" sounds?  Last lines of the two books, look at 'em.   :-whistle

It had not occurred to me before, but you're quite right.
Tricksters, the two of them. I think they'd both agree with the adage "life's a banquet and most poor S.O.B.'s are starving to death".
Who else? Off the top of my head I can only come up with some of James H. Schmitz' characters.

Well, Coyote, obviously, and maybe Jesse from Our Hostess' work.  I wonder about Ben.

Jesse has that twinkle, certainly. Ben? Sometimes, even when his profanity and rudeness is flowing he seems to be trying to hide that he's got a joke going.
